"The Old You"

"The Old You"

"It is my duty,
to show you the beauty,
that lives inside of you,
and everything,
that God resides,
in your heart,
and you should let Him sing,
for He can break you,
of your chains,
and lift the pain,
the Devil brings.

Remember the smiles,
you had as a child,
how you were so free,
so loud and so wild?
Well God can give,
you that back again,
and all you have to be,
is be His Friend.

He misses you,
so very much,
and those drugs you ingest,
are only a crutch.
Believe in Him,
and let your light shine,
like the brightest star,
and keep God always,
on your radar,
and remember,
God loves you,
just the way you are,
without all those drugs,
being sober by far!"
