I started talking, inside my mind
Little private conversations in my head
I'd pretend to talk to my cat (Out Loud)

Oh but then, I got bold and spoke out loud
Behind four walls, of course
But then, one day it happened
I think I finally cracked
I got caught talking to myself; OUT LOUD
In a public place, no less
Loneliness can make a person act that way
We just needed to hear our own voice
