The Part Of Me I Like Most

You remember school, always someone better,
someone stood up and read their work,
I felt like throwing mine away,
now I'm better so they say.

You remember uni, I thought I improved,
I helped someone with their work,
suddenly, I passed fairly easily,
now I'm better so they say.

You remember work, at least I wasn't -
a dreaded financial manager - 
I advanced myself along the way,
and became better so they say.

Then, like a weightlifter, I raised the bar,
with my tenacity, I managed to go so far.
