The Poppy

The Poppy

In 'Flanders Field'
This poem we know
For John Mc Crae
His pen would flow,
γ€€
The story told
Of the Poppy - Red
Around the graves
Of the men, lay dead,
γ€€
The blood they shed
To save our lives
Left fatherless children
And widows of wives,
γ€€
For years to come
The people will pray
For the heroes who died
On 'Remembrance Day'
