The relationship cycle

Relationships do last forever.
They can be the most painful and devastating thing ever.
It starts when one of the two, falls out of love.
They have an idea, they make a decision.
Ultimately comes down to I'm done or I'm leaving.
She'll tell you a story, blame it all on you, but ultimately she's gone.
This is the point where pain becomes reality and devastation normal.
Then the fatal words of I'm leaving, I'm done, I'm gone are said.
First your mind goes rampant with thoughts and emotions.
Then you feel like a lost soul.
It starts with a tear, then never stops flowing like Niagara falls.
Next to feel like you're suffocating, gasping for breath.
You are taken on dark solitude trip of painful emotional suffering.
All you want to do is find a hole and die.
And through it all you don't know why.
At this point you shut down and all you want to do is cry.
You feel like your life is over, there's never tomorrow.
I will not lie to you, you're going to feel like you want to die.
Pull the trigger, pop the pill and end it all.
But that's too easy you must stay strong.
Time stand still, minutes feel like hours and days feel like years.
Eventually as time passes, the pain will subside.
You start to heal, but you'll never forget.
All you can do just trying to pick up the pieces of your broken life.
Life goes on, and so must you.
One day you'll find another.
One who cares for you.
One that you love.
Then you'll break up.
And your start again at the beginning.
All over again, an endless cycle.
You can never really truly trust again.
Never liked you once had.
It would be harder to love anyone again.
With the memories always haunting you of what once was.
You always feel the painful numb.
But it's true that relationships never true last forever.
