The Rich and The Wealthy

The Rich and The Wealthy

The difference between the rich and the wealthy is that
The rich have amassed wealth which they keep to themselves
Lining them on shelves in bundles of coins
That brings them joy in times of sadness
Whereas the wealthy seem care free with their money
Finding joy in a convoy of actions for their brothers mothers and others who they know not
But still want to help them
Not lining them in ordered rows just for show so that no one can claim it
To sit there for years and years causing unwarranted tears to stream down the face of the poor
I mean what more do you need than a cry or plea for you to open these shelves so others can help themselves to your wealth
Wealth that was inherited not earned
Wealth that you find of little concern but yet you burn through out your lifetime
You're just like the poor except you have more and front door to keep them all out
But you can still hear them shout? How do you block them out?
Ears that do not want to hear are worse off than the deaf
As you can hear their cries through the tears in their eyes but steer clear aside
Waving a consoling emblem of help but still keep your money on the shelf
Is it not better to be blind to avoid sight of false hope?
As you know all hope is false
With hope so close yet so far to reach, some to the devil are driven to beseech
Despite all the sermons they preach
Even a stoic after years of knowing he will suffer
When offered a chance to be free only to be cut off would wish he had not seen
