Poem -

The Sad Freezer

Sometimes I feel like a broken freezer
A hopeless geezer
With a jammy door that won't open either
Feel like the weight of the fridge is always on my shoulders
I'm the one who freezes stuff yet he's the one who's always colder
Bolder
More carefully soldered
If life is a war then he is the soldier
And I am the coward using a child as shield
Without any power I'm not sufficiently sealed
So I yield
Give in
I start to leak from within
With every thought
Another vegetable's thawed
I'd probably make a better cupboard
But my life is so lacklustre that I would just make the cups bored
Then I'd be emptied again
Like my soul.
