All of a sudden
I felt like the world had drained me
For everything i had 
The happy parts of me ended up turning sad 
The constant burn in my chest, hurt so bad 
The sky was no longer blue but grey
And the emptiness inside didn't seem to go away 

I kept coming back 
You were the 'drug' I thought I needed 
Without you I felt so numb and raw 
My heart wounded trying to withdraw 
I don't want you in my life anymore

You could break my heart into tiny pieces 
And I'd still pick them up and 
Put them back into your hands 
I re read the same chapter over and over again 
Knowing the ending would still remain the same 
I was still hoping it was you and me in the end
