The Seven Deadly Sins

The Seven Deadly Sins

The seven deadly sins, The devils greatest tool.

They Live inside, within us all, from farmer's croft to fool.

Pride,  great and plentiful, the bane of wisdom,

Lust, The wanting, the enemy of reason,

Sloth, Ever present snatching at time,

Envy, The green disease, turning our hearts black,

Gluttony, The lord of feasts that we refuse to share

Malice, Black as night, the killer in the dark,

Wrath, A warrior without reason or cause, the deadliest of the seven.

Hope the gentle savior, our Harbinger of Heaven.

Without rhyme or reason, we commit these all,

Little to Know, The seven shall be our fall.
