The sinner

The sinner

He walketh upon
The earth
On his day of reckoning
When the day
 Turned to night
He tugged his beard
Beckoning God
 He looked around him
Towards the Apostles
 He cried out
    I am here
  I am here
     He fell upon his sword
Bleeding on the malignant earth
    Blood to water
Light from dark
     He said
I am Here
    The sinner
  And they hung him
       For his sins
          Sins
Sins
    Sins
