The Summoning Part 1

The Summoning Part 1

Deep inside the cemetery, a woman recited a spell,
Her arms were gesturing all around, as if pulling something from hell,
The fog rolled in as thick as sheets, and muffled scratches could be heard,
There was no one else around that night, she would not be disturbed.

The woman was in a deep dark trance, as it rumbled in the sky,
And a couple of flashes of lightning, revealed someone lurking nearby,
As he continued to do her work, her nose started to drip with blood,
Falling to the ground below, pool around to make red mud.

As she screamed out “Rise rise rise”, the blood soaked through the ground,
And the muffled scratching that was heard, was now getting quite loud,
The woman's eyes opened as if in shock, her head rotated to look behind,
And saw the figure with a samurai sword, and knew he wouldn't be kind.

With one clean slice the spell was stopped, and her head rolled on the grass,
Her lifeless body slumped forward, the swordsman fulfilled his task,
“You are too late the deed is done” is what the head just said,
And to finish him off the swordsman spun, and rammed his sword right through her head.

The ground beneath jumped about, as if something was coming out,
The swordsman looked left and right, there was still no one about,
Two clawed hands broke the surface, and another two as well,
As the creature emerged from the deep dark depths, the creature had come from hell.

With horns and claws and big sharp teeth, looked down upon the man,
And took a step toward him, he needed to run as fast as he can,
But the swordsman took a fighting stance, and fight like never before,
As the creature lunged toward him, with an almighty beastly roar!
