The sun

The sun

In the waking hour,
Of the midnight light,
The stars they fade,
Oh! So bright.

Yet comes a time,
Where nothing shines,
The moon is dim,
But hard to find.

The sun awake,
And beaming with tears,
It’s time is up,
But no one fears.

Everything comes to an end,
They say,
But the sun shall never fade away.
