THE SUN DIPS LOW
Williamsji Maveli Writes....

The sun dips low, a fiery kiss,
On clouds that blush with amethyst.
Day's brilliance fades, a gentle hush,
As twilight paints with velvet brush.
The sky, a canvas vast and deep,
Where streaks of gold and orange creep.
Then lavender and indigo flow,
A calming peace begins to grow.
Silhouettes of trees stand tall,
Against the canvas, dark and small.
A single star begins to gleam,
A tiny diamond in a dream.
The air is cool, a gentle breeze,
Whispers secrets through the trees.
Crickets chirp, a lullaby,
As twilight paints the evening sky.
