The Sunshine Girl

Everyone's best friend
A sister to all
But at the end of the night,
You gave up your fight.

I remember the morning,
You weren't really dead
That couldn't be possible yet
There was still so many memories to collect.

We were all so young
13, with a broken heart
What happened to you first kiss?
Or that first dance you would miss?

Sometimes I feel like you’re with me
You radiate through my heart
I would give anything,
Just give me one more day.

I will bring honor to your memory
The Sunshine Girl
Oh, how I wish we could make the moments last
13 years did go by too fast.
