The Swinging Tree

The Swinging Tree

Whipping through the air,

As smooth as silk and lace.

Not a worry... not a care.

A smile stuck on my face.

Leaves fall all around me...

Branches turning, tree trunk strong.

Wind creating symphonies,

Leading Nature's song.

The breeze-the rushing river's king,

Passing quickly by.

I push higher on the swing,

Learning how to fly.
