The teachers tale

The teachers tale

In every school across the land,

Teachers try to take a stand.

Armed with pens and coffee cups,

They're heroes when the sun comes up.

They face the chaos, wild and loud,

A sea of students—talking proud.

“Sit down! Be quiet! Don’t throw that!”

(How do they not just grab their hat?)

There’s Mr. Smith, the History buff,

Who thinks Napoleon’s so tough.

But when he trips and drops his map,

The class erupts in claps and snaps.

Miss Green, who teaches math with pride,

Draws X and Y on every side.

And though she’s smart, she’ll lose the war,

When one kid shouts, “What’s math for?!”

And Science teachers? Oh, what luck!

One day it's lava, the next a duck.

Explosions, smoke, and slimy goo,

Just pray the fire drill’s not due!

But then there’s lunch, their sacred time,

For twenty minutes, peace can shine.

Until, alas, the copy’s jammed—

“Can someone fix this?!” —here it’s crammed.

They mark your work with tired eyes,

Surprise exams? That’s their surprise.

They know you Googled half the test,

But smile and say, “You tried your best.”

So here’s to teachers, calm and kind,

Who mold and shape each growing mind.

They put up with the desk graffiti,

And still don’t quit for jobs more easy!
