The park on a windy day with
golden leaves in stacks to play

An empty swing on a  sunny day
the slide and games you will never
play

No feeding ducks or chasing birds
first steps or silent words unheard

The water play, the shrieks and 
screams, the silent thoughts still
haunt my dreams
The things you will never do

The Holidays and other trips and 
wishing wells and lucky dips
no wanting waiting prayers or wishes
