The Unique Snowflake

Snow is a glistening image of our world today.
How many individual flakes fall from the sky?
Too many to count.
If one flake falls, is it alone visible? Probably not.

Every snowflake effortlessly careening towards our surface is unique, different.
I'll choose one hundred people to pick one second in our history, they won't be the same.
I'll pick five people out from across the world, they'll be unique in their own way.
I'll capture ten snowflakes as they aimlessly drift across our sky, none of them will be the same.

Yet, is one hundred seconds a long time?
Will five people single handedly make a big difference?
Will ten snowflakes stand out? Not really.

In our world, we seem to be so individual, so lacking teamwork, cooperation.
Not achieving much.

But billions of seconds, that's a lifetime.
Billions of people, mankind.
A billion snowflakes, a ski resort.

If we all work together, every snowflake, every unique individual cooperating to achieve a desired goal, who says we can't accomplish anything?
