THEN IS STILL NOW

THEN IS STILL NOW

Where were you when you were still twenty five?
it's as though the programme was going out live;
we passed thro' misty passages of technology,
there was no need to make everythihg hunkydory.

Don't make things too complicated, oldies won't manage it,
although Gladys suddenly became a demon driver, bit by bit;
who became holy, gave up cigs and booze, only you can lose
some pleasure, it was just up to you the things you may choose.

Only the good die young - like James Dean in his twenties,
but you missed out, the perception one of life's anomalies,
crammed everything into a short remarkable space of time,
good or bad, no one could have had a life like mine.

Still going on; imagine some changes to some of God's laws,
Shakespeare may still be alive today writing more Star Wars.
