They'd All Be My Age Now

They'd All Be My Age Now

You'll never walk alone sugarpie darling honeybun,
Kitaro had to admit that in the sun they'd run, run, run;
are you going to San Francisco with flowers in your hair,
all across the nation with a strange vibration there.

No, I'm going back to Massechutsets to see Barry now,
'cause the lights always shine on Maurice, Robin anyhow;
we had suspicious minds and how I hungered for your touch,
destiny, the way we were and can't help falling in love much.

It's not unusual to be loved by anyone, Thomas said,
and then Chris de Burgh waxed lyrical with lady in red;
Dusty started something, can't you see all my mystery,
I only want to be with you, that's where we'd like to be.

Kitaro picked up his panflute and said we shall never fail,
when beauty of all those years turns a whiter shade of pale.
