Thirty-Eight Months And Thirty-Seven Weeks

Thirty-Eight Months And Thirty-Seven Weeks

In Memoriam for our two Blessed Angels, Nico-2/16/15 and Cody-8/5/17
.

Thirty-eight months and Thirty-seven weeks, since our little boys had to leave;
First Nico, then our baby Cody, now forever do we grieve!
Each day seems so very empty, without them by our sides;
We look to their beds they used to fill, and all we do is cry!
.
Our hearts and souls are broken, our babies now are gone;
No more sacred family bye-byes, no more walking on the lawns!
The void brings such pain daily, there’s no substitute for their love;
At night we pray that they are happy, in the Heavens up above!
.
We’re too old now to start a new family, although tempted, our hands are tied;
For we could not provide them proper care, too much would they be denied!
So we’ll have to weep forever, for our precious little sons;
As the final stage of “our” existence, has also just begun!
.
.
                           The light of our lives
                       Became eternal darkness
                        When they left our sides
