THIS BLURRY GLANCE

THIS BLURRY GLANCE

Man, life's got me tripping over myself again,
Here at the beginning, when it's drawing towards the end.
I feel like the failure I didn't want to be,
In denial, refusing that this is all I'll ever be.
Struggling, and destructive, a chaotic, hot mess,
Stomping my feet, crying, my soul needs some rest.
I don't want to leave this world before getting the chance,
To show them what I'm made of, beyond this blurry glance.
It's frustrating to be anxious, and wound so tight,
With no clear vision of the battles that I fight.
Please, whoever still believes that one day I will shine,
Don't give up hoping, for me the spotlight will be mine.
