This Quiescent Flower, Ever Bleeding

I see your face and together we fall
With the light of a dying ember
As the memory dissolves
And the sea divides the light we chase
Between space and time
Approaching ever closer, but never to collide
And falling, I'll forever be
Haunted by the effigy
Midst the unknown to wonder
Will we ever be, as we've been one before
We travel the asymptote
On a parallel plane, the inevitable soar
In an astral dream
Beyond premonition to no avail
Yet all that is wilted, must return to bloom
Allaying the untimely perils of senescence
When the soul is lost, but love is infinite
And therefore must resume
This quiescent flower, ever bleeding
From the grave it springs
With the subtlety of a wind's discordant sear
And there I tremble sightless to the inception
To when my soul was still with yours
And lingering, ever since
