Those smiles

Those smiles

Those tongues cut me deeper than knives
Peeling me slowly, lacerating
Stop looking at me with such eyes!
Under your gaze, I feel myself evaporating
Growing thinner, mouth dries
My body must be exaggerating

How fascinating -
That I“m the only one who sees through those smiles
That I“m the only one who sees the signs
Hahaha - it“s exasperating!

When those kissable faces twist into diabolism
Saints taking demonic shapes
If only in my eyes
I feel sure of my fake ostracism
Cutting me slowly with imaginary knives
That leave no scrapes

WOW!!....this is INTENSE....and VERY poetic.....I LOVE how you use words like 'evaporating' andĀ  'exagerrating' to maintain your continuity here.....and even though this is kind of depressing in its intent it is still inspirational in its honesty!!......ALL STARS & PINNED!!....Great work dear poet sister!!....LOVE & ROCKETS!!......T xoĀ  : )
