Through The Eyes Of A Child

Through The Eyes Of A Child

They were all captivating,
and each were special in their own way,Ā
Cinderella, Pinnocchio, Little Red Riding Hood,
They had me enchanted, hook, line and sinker.
And story time never felt so good.
In each fairy tale the characters came to life,
right there on the page,
surging through the depths of my mind
Their stories were my journeys.
I closed my eyes and imaginedĀ
and even when the change cameĀ
they remained locked in my world
I will forever cherish them
because those dreams were mine
I lived the moment
and still do
through the eyes of a child
