Time In My Hands

Time In My Hands

I once held time in my hands
And infinity unto thine eye.

The universe held in divine—
Stagnation.
Reincarnation.

My life be but a whisper
Into thy heavens abound.

For what doth life bring?
If not but a mortal belonging.
A calling, a reckoning?

For God, in Him we live.
And in Him we survive.

But what is it to survive?
‘Tis more than simply to live;
Or even to die.

To existing in blissful peace
Is all a man, as I, can ask.
