"Time to Let Go"

"It will never get better,
unless you put drugs,
and the bottle down.
I know you've seen,
how despair hangs around,
like your own misery,
has it's own sound,
but that does not,
have to always be.
Choose to come be,
sober with me!

We can share stories,
of how we survived,
and to our ownselves,
we even lied,
but it finally ceased,
and God's Calm took over,
and the chill,
of your struggle,
became a little less colder.

To go back,
you would risk it all.
You would be welcoming,
the bottomless fall,
from God's Almighty Grace,
just to chase,
a simple taste,
and a momentary feeling,
that is just an illusion,
that leads to your own ruin.

Embrace this journey sober,
love how you grow,
and chase everything,
that God will show.
Because those drugs will never be the answer,
it's now time to let go."
