Time Warp

Time Warp

I'm stuck in love, can't be bad wouldn't you say,
walked into a room with geese on the wall one day,
Sha-Na-Na were singing Blue Moon once more,
didn't I see your wonderful, beautiful face before.

I'm young again, swept back hair as good as you,
winkle picker pointed shoes, move over Tom Cruise;
don't pooh-pooh, look at your parents at the door,
didn't I see your wonderful, beautiful face before.

Your turn will come, just as you thought it was done,
strapped to the minute hand, lost in so much fun,
the tick of the clock tells us what's less is more,
didn't I see your wonderful, beautiful face before.

Yes, I did once when I was visiting gold heaven,
I remembered the scented ethereal mist in 2027.
