Tissues

Tissues

Tissue papers behind closed bathroom doors
Tear drops  scattered on the floor
A life inside, torn away
No, there's nothing you can say

Names and dates that would've been
Tears and pain we have to mend
An empty room at the end of the hall
Another reason to resent the fall

I dream and long just to feel your love
A blessing sent from up above
Gentle and delicate as a dove
