To be unloved.......
She believes no one can ever truly know her painā¦ sheās wrong;
She believes no one can see inside her soul and hear its song
of torturedĀ longing for someone who keeps her paralyzed with hope
That one day a look from him will unfoldĀ his Ā hidden love;
He is the sea she longs to swim, the tide pushing her back
but still she clings to driftwood seeking rescue.
