To Be Yours

To Be Yours

Ancient Wonder
I confess to thee
That you have wandered
Oh, my love
Back and forth without me
And I forgave the midnight blue
The curse of bitterness
No touch for a caress
When to hold you so close
I would have suffered more
And not less
In thy wake I pledged
No acceptance on which to delay
And you became the shadow that
I casteth away; Harsh reality
I beckon. My solemn vow.
That you, Oh, my Love
Will find me somehow.

Hi LadyRemedy  A lovely romantic write
I like the the old English wording
making it more romantic to me. I can imagine the knight
and the lady in your picture  speaking these words to him
Really enjoyed Great first write welcome to Cosmo
Best Wishes Debs
