To deal with my life

To deal with my life

When I speak, I'm told to be quiet.
When I move, I'm told to sit down.
I'm in a body I don't even pilot.
I'm a puppet others push around.
I try to break free,
But I'm bound by these strings.
I'm a puppet that others won't leave be.
I can't ignore the pain it brings me.
I try to be kind, but it always misleads,
leaving me with nothing but the darkest of seeds.
Ever since I started high school, I've been on my own,
But I kind of like being on my own.
When I'm alone, there's no one I have to fight,
Or telling me that my minds not right.
I used to love school,
But now I feel like a fool.
I feel like an ant surrounded by giants,
But I'm not one to be defiant.
I won't bluff,
High school is really tough.
It's not really fun,
But I can't stop until I'm done.
