Poem -

To Kiss Thee, I Would Die

To Kiss Thee, I Would Die
Thy beauty, like the morning sun,
Doth light my world, my heart undone.
Thy lips, a rose in bloom so fair,
I long to taste, to breathe thy air.

If but one kiss, my soul could claim,
I’d gladly face the mortal flame.
For in thy touch, my life would find,
A heaven sweet, a love divine.

To kiss thee, I would die this day,
And in thy arms, my soul would stay.
No fear of death, nor pain, nor woe,
Could keep me from thy tender glow.

So let me kiss thee, fairest maid,
And in that kiss, my life be laid.
For in thy love, my heart would soar,
And death would part us nevermore.
