Tomorrow when

Once was a day when life was innocent 
Once was a day, peace & love was found, 
Tomorrow was our children's future then
Life filled with wonder & harmony around, 
Times happy to leave the doors open all day 
Jobs & industry & crime were not top of the news, 
Seeing priority in all the right places & then
Those in charge caring & listening to public views, 
Tomorrow when I recall a time to look back on
Will be the day I realise I remembered it all before, 
Everyday I feel I could do a little bit better
And mistakes that were made are left behind another door.
