TOO BLACK AND WHITE

That's what it was, no grey in between,
It's more interesting if you don't know what I mean,
however, if you wish I'll tell you what you want to hear,
I gave you, loved you, now you can shed a tear.

There was the time when you knew exactly what I meant,
you leaned on elbows, grinned when I caught your scent,
eyes crinkled, wonderment, we moved up a gear,

You said; 'Hey, when will I see you again?'
we will always meet, in the wind, the sun and the rain,
there was no gap, no pausing, no time, no fear,
I gave you, loved you, now you can shed a tear.

I  need you, read you, don't have to write the grey,
It's better if you understand everything that I say.
