Poem -

too late --- too save me

Days collected
smashed in falling laughter
twisted ,teased,traitor,
this judas glass
talons clipped by a forgotten grip
music plays ,
begs to take it back
that given minute sliced on altars lips
framed bone
washed ashore ,losing the friendly shore
years
they drink all that pain serves
yet absurd escapes only to seek return
darkness is the juggler

Too late
no return
painted black on rolling stones
unmarked my grave,
it sits tattoed into the heart
too late
no return

left a home
where family built the cross
fashioned nails into gold
lovers created in stories sold
and i can never return
too late
 never let them own you
words drawn on the rivers muddy soul

just one silly whiskey stained splinter
and just one silly name
