 TREE OF LIFE :
 An inspirational tribute poem

Birds chirping and dawn blossoms
singing a song of innocence. 
First relaxed  under the tree
 sheltered by this companion of ours.
Under the shade tree is where I am
Not at all confused by thoughts,
I experience duality in life.
Unencumbered by ideas,
the enlightened see
the one Reality.

Although all trees can be symbols of the feminine divine, the oak, tamarisk, date, palm, sycamore, and olive trees are especially associated with Asherah. Because of this association with trees, the Feminine Divine is associated with sacred trees, including the Tree of Life.
