Troubled Waters (Questions)

A Third Rant

Troubled Waters (Questions)

A quiet whisper once said to me,
That there was nothing to fear, nothing to hide,
I chuckled to myself you see,
I have much to lose now, more than my pride

Said wind blows and trees fall,
But if I fall, who else will follow my steed?
If I ask for help, will those people answer my call?
Is that something I want or something I need?

Breathing in, Breathing out, without a doubt,
A doubt that I shan`t shout, nor do they hear
-Or fear the sheer dread that follows,
every day, every pain

And I drink, eat, suffer and live,
They say I`m broken, to them I don`t forgive.

But.

Tis a rant from an old fish, yes that is me,
And the questions come unanswered
And that`s how they will always be

For a question is not a question without an answer,
And I am the answer, the misinterpretation.
The failure and the master,
The given and the taken.

The Fish of the Sea.

Being Me

I do like this. I am going to have to read it a few times more, I think, to get it to really mean anything to me. I get this feeling of despondency from it. But I really like it. I like the tone and the flow of words (meter is it?) and the rhyming is perfect for it x
