Tulips

Tulips

O’ posy color me a smile
Hearts bid stay awhile
Awaken, balmy wisps
Borne ye florid tulips

Dewdrops quaffed
Drone hovers aloft
Pollinate gently fleet
Alluring nectars sweet

Petals contrast bright
May multi-hues delight
Redbreast serenade
Atop budding glade

Steely clouds of gray
Peek thru celestial array
Alight Sunkist effuse
Banish winter blues
