Poem -
Twilight
The light has gone, My time is up.
I've lived my life, I've filled my cup.
With love and kindness from all my friends,
As I went through life with all it's trends.
The essence of life I leave behind,
With all my love and all that'sย kind.
The things Iย have seen along the way,
From the rising sun to the setting of the day.
This world is such a wonderful place,
Full of love with aย warm embrace.
A helping hand along the way,
Is all you need to find each day.
A Kind regard to all you meet,
Because life is shortย But very sweet.
I leave you now with just a thought,
Be Kind and caring, And never fraught.
Just trust each other to do your best,
And leave me now to get my rest.

Cool MICHAEL!!.....COSMO has a way of doing that.....a LOT of positivity and support floating around here...... it did the EXACT same thing to me...... coming from a lyricist/songwriting background it was quite the inspirational jump into taking poetic delivery seriously,,,,,, went back with a vengeance and a new appreciation for the old school classical poets....... and then began the process of finding my own voicing.... its been a TON of fun...... made a LOT of new friends...... and found my Lady Love here......I actually relocated from Chicago to North Carolina where we now live together...... and of course...... we write every day...... supporting one another in our creative endeavors....... it's a fun place!!....... hope you stick around brother poet........ I'll be watching out for your stuff!!.......LOVE and ROCKETS!!.......T xo
