Tyger Tyger

After William blake

Tyger tyger I've lost my light
It was there the other night
I think it must of slipped my brain
Or gone into hiding again

I should steal the light that shroud the stars
Or blazing headlamps from passing cars
Light silenced with passing showers
Think the light has stolen my powers

Light dimmed from heavens rent
If the light had any sense
It would enlighten itself for all to see
And illuminate us with darkness set free

Tyger tyger orbs burning bright
Let this sparkle pierce the night
For light I didn't make
So furtive shadows I fake
