Unbroken Dream

Sitting here in the rain
waiting for the next train
I tried to touch the sky
but I learned I couldn’t fly
I wish I knew from the start
so I wouldn’t have a broken heart
Everyone told I would fail
but I fought tooth and nail
I can’t go back like this
there are chances that I’ll miss
I still have yet to reach fame
thats the reason that I came
I made friends along the way
so I guess I’m here to stay
So it’s time I get by
and learn to fly
