UNENDING LOVE

I push you to the back of my mind
but the urge to wonder
how you are
what you are doing
whether you think of me is greater

I've lied to myself, tried to forget
what we had, what we were
what you made me feel but I've
done nothing but damage to my soul
I have tormented my heart with
desperation to forget and torn apart
the good in me with no success

Now I'm giving in to the humongous love
I feel deep within,
Now I finally embrace and appreciate
the fact that I can only love you from afar
Now I will hang on to the memories
we made together and let them revive
what I feel deep inside

For the me without you is ridiculously
incomplete and senseless
I'm selfishly greedy when it comes to
you and the thought of you in someone's
arms drives me crazy and tortures me to
the core

I loved you then,

and will love you in the future
With every passing day I love you
even more and miss you even worse
