UNRAVELED

Returning to where I've been before 
Watching the edges begin to frey 
Don't let me come apart from the seams 
But I've become unraveled today
Please, this can't be happening 
I'm beginning to fall apart 
I just stand here helplessly 
Feeling the breaking of my heart 
I thought this was over
This coming undone 
But bit by bit, piece by piece 
The unraveling's begun 
I've worked hard to get where I am
Resilient,  positive,  strong
I still have a fight left in me 
I will not give up, but go on
I prayed to God in heaven
I said; God please fight my fight 
I will not be defeated,  Lord
I will not go softly into that night 
You are holding me together 
God, You are my super glue
I would never have made it this far 
If it hadn't been for You 
Let my resilience be resilient 
Let Your strength in me be strong 
Let Your power that's within me 
Be my overcomer's song 
You gave me beauty for ashes 
The very breath left inside of me
The strength to rise and fight again 
The resilience to be free
