As my vision fogs with tears
Full of both joy and sorrow
I tread the lonely waters
In the vastness of my heart

I seek a light within
Be it clouded and polluted with darkness
A void resplendent with peace
emptiness, devoid of all

No good nor bad
Shall ever again escape me
A balance achieved thru nothingness
Neutrality not withstanding
I fall upon myself
Broken and fulfilled all at once

Though my life may not be spent living
Alive yet I shall be
Traveling onward in no direction
Seeking the answers that I seek

Until my final destination
May no weeping eyes see me
As I lay slumbering
In the waters of the deep
May no light follow me
To disturb the darkness found within
May the coldness of my soul
Rest in peace forevermore
When I am called home
To the embrace of eternity
