A V O I D A N C E
Am I the person you thought you knew...
Or has time let you see something new...
Nowadays we just glide on through...
Happiness well overdue...
Do you want me even more...
Or will you step back outside and close the door
Yesterday has brought tomorrow.....
Tomorrow brought today...yet...
Avoidance lasts eternal...
So many play that game..
I will keep the fire stoked...it's always warm inside...
The door is always open..never need to hide.
No need for avoidance...you need to decide...

Cary! Love this write! I have had to state this ultimatum when my relationship seem to have been moving further and further south of the commitment we had initially established. At least he did decide…often times we find ourselves lingering and grasping for what has vacated the space where loving should have been. Excellent write. 5 stars from me!
