Poem -

Vampire

Draining out the truth,
From my mind as I try,
To look into your bloodstained
Eyes filled with contemptΒ
That burns in circles of nineΒ
You are Hell and I'm DanteΒ
Every bite that you give meΒ
Has become infected with
My own desire to escapeΒ
Before your actions resultΒ
In my death, creature of the night,
One who runs from the sun,
And can't look at himself in theΒ
mirror because of your visage
Withered into a hollow monsterΒ
Who takes the joy out of everyoneΒ
And leaves them a carcass of their
former vibrancy before you discardΒ
Unlike a vampire from Stoker
You don't have a heart to stab.Β
