In your shadows I slumber. 
The velveteen black enfolds and my eyes, my heart, close tightly, as a bud unready to blossom. 
My body, wrapping around your soul, like grapevines to the tree of immortality. 
Drinking twice from eternity. 
A dreamer of both, golden and dark things, you dare not stray from chaos and conflict. 
This, dormant, seeping rage you crave. 
But, my love, don't you see? 
I too, came to be absorbed.
Painting my hair as black as the night, upon the moon and greying clouds to sight. 
(I must grow roots before opening to such a light.)
The dawn crawls nearer and the stars dissolve breathlessly into the sky. 
Touch me. 
Embrace our restless midnight of doting melancholy. 
Lost to the shadows, like a silver waterfall, in a language understood only by wolves and lovers. 
For how they bey.
A haunted echo. 
A beautiful cry. 
Love me. 
Love me as the sun welcomes the earth so tirelessly.
