Vices

Hurt people hurt others
But what if they dont want to cause harm
What if all the hurt people want is to forget
If he can drink enough whiskey he feels whole
And he started to wonder why he ever drank that at all
Then he remebers his father smashing empty beers against a childhood homes wall
So he tips the bottle up a little more
He wasnt trying to hurt
Only wanting to forget
So next time you see the “slut” at school
I want you to think
Is she trying to play the boys around her like a game
Is she trying to move the pieces
Or
Is she trying to forget
When she was a child
Someone elses hands were around her waist
