Poem -

Violent Prayer

I know she cried for me
but ever so often
I was the cause

every teardrop was acid-rain
filled with mourning of a falling star
etching scars on membranesĀ
of every waking thought I possessed

She who tore down the city
brick by brickĀ
my City of SolitudeĀ
Her tears a burning sin
I couldn't shoulder
cascading-- salt to my wounds

selfishly I asked
furious trampling of annihilation
of all that saddens her
delving into depths of rage
to spawn an everlasting smile
the cycle of life to it's inevitable end
only for HerĀ
in Her name.

Hi Lost

Really great piece, I enjoyed the undertones of this making me feel such melancholy from the poem

Well done
